DAY 7 - WEEK 2

A gentle and clarifying foundational breath practice to bring awareness to the left and right energy channels (nadis) of the body. By breathing slowly and intentionally through one nostril at a time—first left, then right—we begin to observe subtle differences in breath quality, temperature, and ease of flow.

In Ayurveda and yogic science, each nostril corresponds with a different energy principle:

  • The left nostril connects to ida nadi — calming, cooling, lunar energy.

  • The right nostril connects to pingala nadi — warming, energising, solar energy.

This simple yet revealing practice helps:

  • Prepare the body for deeper pranayama

  • Improve nostril patency and breath awareness

  • Balance the autonomic nervous system

  • Notice habitual breath imbalances or tendencies

  • Reset focus and internal clarity

Perfect for before meditation, as a morning ritual, or to wind down with curiosity and calm.
