Day 1: Awakening

Welcome

Welcome to Day One of your Ayurvedic body and mind reset: Awakening. This day is dedicated to gently waking up your body and mind, preparing them for the transformative journey ahead. In Ayurveda, awakening is not just about rising from sleep; it’s about getting things moving, igniting your inner fire and stimulating your body’s natural processes.

Awakening in Ayurveda

In Ayurvedic tradition, awakening is closely linked to the gentle process of Agni Deepana, the stimulation of digestive fire (agni) to promote healthy elimination. Today, we focus on helping your body wake up to the idea of a gentle reset, both psychologically and in terms of digestion. This is a time to stimulate your eliminatory processes, ease constipation, and promote flow throughout your system, especially on the very first day of a beneficial dietary change.
